Lukas “Glaive” Rossander removed from Counter-Strike Division

After a period of evaluation and internal discussion, we are sad to announce the removal of Lukas “Glaive” Rossander from our Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Division. Lukas had been the embodiment and captain of our team for a long period but recent events made it quite clear that something needed to change.

Our CEO, Jakob Lund Kristensen, issued the following statement:

Today we sadly have to say goodbye to a great player and probably one of the most interesting Counter-Strike minds in Denmark as Lukas “Glaive” Rossander has been removed from our Counter-Strike Division with immediate effect. I have tremendous respect for Lukas as a person but the way he conducted himself in relations to the Gaming.dk Finals was simply unacceptable and far from the professionalism we expect from our players. The recent year has been very tumultous for our Counter-Strike Division and we will now take a step back and audit what future possibilities there may be available for 2015.

In the end I wish to state that Lukas had been a consummate professional during his time with the Copenhagen Wolves leading up to this point and I am personally sure he will bounce back stronger.”

More news on the future of our Counter-Strike Division will be presented in the near future.
